Who you will be dealing with

Eight people, and you will know all of them.

A firm this size has nowhere to hide a handoff. The person who answers the phone knows your name, the person in the meeting was in the last one, and the attorney doing the planning is the one whose name is on the door.

The roster

Small, on purpose.

Two of the eight have been here more than a decade. In a business where the person who knows your file tends to change every eighteen months, that is most of what there is to say. What follows under each name is their own account of the job, or the firm’s.

  • Gregory S. DuPont, in a dark suit and wire-rimmed glasses, against a dark studio backdrop

    Gregory S. DuPont, JD, CFP

    Founder and Chief Executive Officer

    With the firm since 2009.

“After about ten years of practicing law, I had seen too many examples where the legal and financial services industries harmed my clients. I decided to look for a different way. I left my law firm and spent three years with a national financial planning firm to learn the skill of financial planning. I left that firm in 2009 and formed DuPont Wealth Solutions, LLC (now Advocate Wealth Solutions) to provide cross-disciplinary solutions for my client’s financial needs free from any institutional or product bias. […] I describe myself as “a friend in the law”, and that’s exactly what I aim to be. Really, it’s not difficult given that I’m a Columbus native, and the people here truly are my friends and family.”
  • Reagan Allen, in a dark pinstripe suit and red striped tie, smiling in front of a pale stone wall

    Reagan Allen

    Financial Advisor

    With the firm since 2025.

Reagan is both an attorney and licensed financial adviser. From large international law firms to serving his hometown community, he brings a wealth of experience to Advocate Wealth Solutions. His approach is rooted in clarity and innovation. Whether guiding a family through estate planning or helping a business owner implement tax planning strategies, his goal is always the same: empower clients with clear, actionable steps to secure their future. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes. It’s a passion he likens to his work: both involve creativity, careful preparation, and delivering something that provides lasting satisfaction.

  • Mike Moeller, in a checked navy jacket and tie, against a dark studio backdrop

    Mike Moeller

    Office Manager

    With the firm since 2009.

“Straight out of college, I worked for my father’s financial planning business, and that’s where I met Greg because he was my father’s attorney. In 2003, I started working with Greg directly, managing the title agency office he had at the time. Today, there is no ‘typical’ day at the office for me. On any given day I could be handling HR duties, accounts payable, or assisting in finance applications. We have a lot of clients that do estate and financial planning with us. Some of them I’ve known for 15+ years. It’s rewarding to know that we are continuing to help these people develop a secure future for themselves throughout their lives.”
  • Meredith Smith, outdoors in front of a landscaped courtyard

    Meredith Smith

    Executive Assistant

    With the firm since 2018.

“I started working with Greg in 2018 and have spent time in nearly every role here. My typical workday consists of a number of things from assisting in meetings, checking in with current and prospective clients and assisting with marketing duties including our seminars. The most rewarding part of my job is being able to help people plan for the future and make sure their families are taken care of. I love to make lifelong connections with clients, and touch base with them even about things going on in their lives that aren’t law or finance related.”
  • Vicky Kirkham, in glasses and a dark jacket, outdoors in front of a hedge

    Vicky Kirkham

    Marketing Director

    With the firm since 2021.

“My typical workday consists of doing a variety of marketing tasks. I’m responsible for keeping our websites up to date, prepping print material for our administrative staff to send out, crafting marketing emails, setting up webinars and seminars, managing our social media accounts and managing the multiple different contact systems we have. When I’m not creating content for the firm on my own, I’m meeting with our vendors and partners.”
  • Cierra Dills, in a white top, against a pale grey wall

    Cierra Dills

    Receptionist

    With the firm since 2026.

As our receptionist, Cierra is often the very first connection our clients have with the firm, and she takes that responsibility to heart. From scheduling appointments to helping clients feel at ease from the moment they reach out, she brings warmth and genuine care to every interaction. Outside the office, Cierra brings the same caring spirit into everything she does — from years spent in childcare (where she earned her Infant Mental Health Specialist credential) to spending her free time on the golf course or tending to her plants. Fun fact: she’s also attended the Ohio Fire Academy!

  • NiQui Chatfield, in glasses and a white top, against a white background

    NiQui Chatfield

    Administrative Assistant

    With the firm since 2025.

“My professional life has always centered around helping people. After graduating from Hiram College, I began working at a family-owned insurance agency in Dublin, Ohio. From there, life took me through raising five children, running businesses with my husband (one of them being a bakery in Powell), working for a financial advisory firm in Upper Arlington, and eventually starting my own virtual business serving financial advisors across the country. Today, I enjoy helping clients move closer to their goals through a thoughtful, proactive approach to operations and service. My days usually start with a cup of coffee, reviewing priorities, responding to client needs, and making sure every interaction goes above and beyond expectations. I also spend time handling client requests and helping onboard new accounts. One of my favorite parts of my job is working alongside our team to achieve meaningful goals for both our clients and the company.”
  • Steven Ramirez, in glasses, a grey suit and navy tie, against a white background

    Steven Ramirez

    Director of Community Outreach

    With the firm since 2025.

“My career path has taken me through many different roles and businesses, but the common thread has always been people. I enjoy understanding what people need, what questions they have, and how to make complicated topics easier to understand. My passion for financial and estate planning became personal after watching a friend’s family struggle with confusion and uncertainty following an unexpected loss. That experience pushed me to learn more about estate planning, retirement, taxes, investments, and insurance, and eventually led me to Advocate Wealth Solutions. Today, I spend my time working on marketing, community outreach, client experience, educational resources, and new ways to connect families with the help they need. One of my favorite parts of the job is taking complex financial concepts and turning them into information people can actually use. Outside of work, most of my time revolves around my wife and daughter, youth soccer, and community involvement. I’m also naturally curious and love exploring new technology, especially artificial intelligence and how it can help us better educate and serve families.”
  • And the bench behind them

Eight people in one office do not deliver law, tax, insurance and investment on their own. The disciplines sit in named firms Greg founded and still runs, which is what makes the coordination structural rather than a promise to call somebody.

Common questions

Questions people ask before they book.

  • How many people work at Advocate Wealth Solutions?

Eight. Gregory S. DuPont is the founder and the attorney the firm is built around, and Reagan Allen is the second adviser, and an attorney as well. Mike Moeller manages the office, Meredith Smith is the executive assistant and NiQui Chatfield is the administrative assistant. Cierra Dills is the receptionist and the first person you speak to. Vicky Kirkham runs marketing and Steven Ramirez runs community outreach. It is a small firm on purpose. The coordination the firm sells is easier to deliver when everyone involved is down the hall.

  • Who will I actually deal with?

Greg does the planning and the legal work. The credentials the firm is built on are his, and they are not delegated. Reagan Allen, the firm’s other attorney and adviser, guides families through estate planning and business owners through tax planning alongside him. Cierra will almost certainly be the first voice you hear, Meredith is likely to be in the room for meetings, and NiQui handles client requests and helps onboard new accounts. If you are already a client, Mike is the person who sorts out anything administrative.

  • Is the whole team credentialed to give advice?

No, and the distinction matters. Two people here are. Gregory S. DuPont holds the JD and the CFP® certification; his record is public on the SEC’s adviser-information site, linked in the footer. Reagan Allen is an attorney and a licensed financial adviser. The other six are office, administrative, marketing and outreach staff. They keep the firm running; they do not advise on your plan.

  • Are these the firm’s real photographs?

Yes. They are the firm’s own portraits. Some are the ones it publishes on its current site, re-hosted here rather than loaded from a third-party server, and the rest were supplied by the firm directly. They come from more than one session, which is why the backgrounds differ. Original photography of the whole team in one sitting is on the list.
