Retirement has a lot of moving parts. Let’s get yours onto one page.

The Clarity Map Session is a no-obligation look at where your income, your taxes and your estate actually stand right now. You leave with the picture. Whether you hire us is a separate conversation, and we hold it separately.

What you walk away with

One conversation. Three answers.

Not a proposal, and not a performance report. Three things about your own money that most people at this stage cannot answer, written down.

01

Where your income actually comes from

What your accounts will realistically produce, in what order, and what happens to it on the way to you. Not a projection of a number, but a sequence, with the draws named.

02

What the IRS is owed, and when

Which accounts carry a future tax bill, the year it comes due, and whether there is a window between now and then worth using. Those windows close on a schedule, and they do not reopen.

03

Whether your plan would survive you

Whether what you have signed and how your assets are titled actually agree with each other, and what your family would be handed if they had to find out the hard way.

And then, honestly

What happens if you want more than the map.

If you want a plan built from what the Clarity Map shows, that is the PILOT Process, and it carries a fee. You will know what it is before you decide anything. If you do not want it, you keep the map.

Fee-based, and we say so

We are a fee-based planning firm. Call with a question and you will not get an hourly bill for it.

Independent, so no house product

We are an independent agency with no institutional or product bias. If something we recommend pays us a commission, we tell you before you decide, not after.

The first conversation costs nothing

The Clarity Map Session is free and carries no obligation. If you want a plan built from it, that is the PILOT Process and it carries a fee we will quote you up front.

“We’ll never try to talk you into hiring us or buying a particular product.”

Book the session

Three fields, and then we call you.

Your name, your email and a number to reach you on. Someone from the Dublin office rings to arrange a time that suits you.

What to bring

  • Recent statements for the accounts you can find
  • Your will or trust, if you have one (a signed copy is fine)
  • Anything you have already been told and did not follow

If you cannot find some of it, come anyway. Not knowing where things are is itself one of the more useful findings, and it is a common one.

Where

655 Metro Place South, Suite 440
Dublin, OH 43017

Central Ohio, not a call center in another state. If sitting across a desk is not practical, the session works by video.

Score your current advisor instead. It takes about a minute.

Before you book

The questions people actually ask first.

Written out in full, because the whole point of the session is that you stop having to guess.

  • Is the Clarity Map Session a sales meeting?

No. The session produces the map, and the map is yours whether or not you ever come back. If you want a plan built from what it shows, that is the PILOT Process and it carries a fee, which we quote you before you decide anything.

  • What does the Clarity Map Session cost?

Nothing. There is no fee for the session and no obligation afterward. Advocate Wealth Solutions is a fee-based planning firm, and the work that follows a Clarity Map Session is quoted up front.

  • How long does it take?

About 30 minutes. The firm’s related estate-planning work runs on a 2-2-2 guarantee (two appointments, two weeks apart, two hours or less of your time), and the Clarity Map Session is designed to fit the same standard.

  • What should I bring to the session?

Whatever you have. Recent statements, a copy of your will or trust, and any advice you were given and did not act on. If you do not know where things are, that is useful information too. It is often the finding that matters most.

  • Do I need a certain amount of money to book a session?

We do our best work with families who have finished saving and now have something worth protecting, usually people at or near retirement holding tax-deferred accounts they will eventually answer to the IRS for. If you are still building, we will tell you so.

  • Can we do it remotely, or does it have to be in person?

Either. The office is at 655 Metro Place South in Dublin, Ohio, and sitting across a desk is the reason a lot of clients choose a local firm. If that is not practical, the session works by video.

  • What happens after the session?

You keep the map. If you want a plan built from it, we quote the PILOT Process fee before any work starts. If you do not, you will not hear from us again unless you ask. The only thing we send is the weekly note, and only if you opt in.

Would rather just talk to someone? That works too.
